Donagh Development Association (DDA) plans for a second annual walk around Emylough are well under way with the walk planned for Sunday 27th September next.
DDA are hoping to match the numbers that turned up last year for the inaugral walk around the lake when some two hundred people took on the three mile trek along the lake shore.
Certificates will again be issued to all those who prticipate and complete the walk which will commence at 2pm at the lake.
An extra novelty fundraiser will be added in the form of a golf ball run. Anyone can participate in this event for a small sum.
The committee encourages participants to bring suitable walking gear, a camera and all the family but advises that the walk is not yet well enough developed for wheel chair users or buggies.
Refreshments will be available on the day and any donations will go towards further development of the walkway.
