Nearly 150 people took part in the Donagh Development 2nd Annual Walk around Emylough on Sunday 27th September. Young and old took to the walkway on a beautiful afternoon to complete the 3 mile circuit and obtain their certificates. Tea was provided by Mary McMahon back at the carpark and the crowd were entertained for the afternoon by Pat Callery & Emlyn McGee who supervised the golf ball races. Music and singalong was organised by The Waterboys and Pat McKenna and enjoyed by all. If you missed it, it is your own fault, watch out for this popular annual event. Thanks to all the members who organised the event, the registrars, the car park attendants and many more who ensured the success of the event. Thanks to the many generous donors. Donations will be used to finish the walkway when funding becomes available. Additional donations may be forwarded to Mary McMahon, treasurer, at Killycooley, Emyvale.
